Registration

This international symposium is open to a broad community of individuals interested in the science and conservation of snakes, especially elapid species. It is designed to foster the exchange of ideas between researchers, conservation practitioners, educators, and medical professionals working on snake ecology, venom biology, evolution, and snakebite mitigation.

You may attend the symposium either as a general participant or as a presenter.

Participants

This symposium aims to foster participation from across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and tropical regions of Africa, though self-funded attendees from other parts of the world are welcome to register. To attend any non-public sessions, participate in workshops, or present at the symposium, registration is mandatory.

Presenters

We welcome presentations of both completed research and work in progress. Submissions may range across biological sciences, public health, traditional knowledge systems, conservation technologies, or community engagement, with a focus on elapid species in the Oriental and adjoining tropical regions.

Financial Aid

To promote inclusive participation and support early-career researchers from underrepresented regions, we are pleased to offer partial financial aid to a limited number of participants from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa whose abstracts have been accepted for oral or poster presentations.
